ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Installation of automatic sliding, folding, revolving and swinging doors, operators and associated equipment.
  • Responsible for surveying and preparing worksite location for installation.
  • Perform related minor work in framing, build in’s and adjustments.
  • Perform work following company safety policies and guidelines.
  • Evaluate and ensure prior to commencement of work, that the appropriate tools and equipment are working and/or available.
  • Responsible for documenting the work to be performed and reviewing with the customer.
  • Responsible for overseeing the care and maintenance of equipment, tools and vehicles provided by Door Services Corporation.
  • Maintain that the appropriate parts inventory is in the company vehicles and ensure that items are available for work.
  • Represent Door Services with customers and present them in a professional demeanor.
  • A minimum of a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
  • Experience in glass and aluminum store front preferred.
  • Electrical background preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the Automatic Door Industry is preferred.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.


Ability to calculate basic math and read a tape measure.


Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a
variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.


Valid driver’s license.
